The actress, Ruby Hill, was revealed by the actress during an interview. <em>Live with Kelly and Rya<\/em>On Monday, the fifth and final season of The Fifth and Final Season was &#8220;very close&#8221;It didn&#8217;t happen because of one cast member.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One person ruined it for all of the cast and crew, and so it&#8217;s not back,&#8221;When asked about the future, she answered &#8220;Yes!&#8221; <em>Good Girls<\/em>. Kelly Ripa, Co-host, asked. &#8220;Wait, but, if one person ruins it for cast and crew, can&#8217;t you just get rid of that one person and then bring in another person?&#8221;Retta said that Retta had to reveal that this particular person&#8217;s story was too close in production to work for the network. &#8220;I think it was a little too close to when [the writers] would have to start [season 5 scripts] and figure out story, so&#8230; no,&#8221; Retta said, adding, &#8220;Trust me. Trust me, Kelly! I&#8217;m salty!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"767\" height=\"431\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/VmWL_PlNHIQ?autoplay=0&amp;loop=0&amp;fs=1&amp;start=0&amp;rel=1&amp;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Retta Reveals Why \u00e2\u0080\u009cGood Girls\u00e2\u0080\u009d Isn\u00e2\u0080\u0099t Coming Back\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Retta stated that she had even suggested a plot to explain the character&#8217;s departure. &#8220;I was literally like, &#8216;Okay, maybe there was a bomb scare at some point, and then a bomb actually went off, and that&#8217;s why that person&#8217;s gone,'&#8221;She recalled that Ripa, a soap opera veteran, offered to write some dramatic scripts for her character. Retta did not name the cast member she claimed caused the end of <em>Good Girls<\/em>Reports last year suggested that the show was cancelled due to negotiations with Manny Montana. Manny played Rio on the show.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, Retta and Christina Hendricks, her co-stars, and Mae Whitman, agreed to pay cuts for the fifth season. <a href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2021\/07\/07\/good-girls-cancellation-why-nbc-season-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><em>TV Line<\/em><\/a>. An insider at NBC told the outlet that financial negotiations and a strained relationship between Hendricks, Montana, and Montana on set put the network in a difficult place. Hendricks wrote, in response to the news on Instagram that the cancellation had been announced. &#8220;Well, we gave it our all. We really did.
