They began dating again in April 2021, and were engaged for the second time a year later. In a slightly awkward but nonetheless sweet development, it turns out JLo\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9, Alex Rodriguez, still looks back on his relationship with the entertainer with relative fondness amid her renewed romance taking off.<\/p>\n<p>The triple-threat star and MLB legend had been married before. After four years of being together, and two of them getting engaged, they decided to end their relationship in March 2021. They were engaged while on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/podcast\/1119-the-martha-stewart-podcas-98310874\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/podcast\/1119-the-martha-stewart-podcas-98310874\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Martha Stewart Podcast<\/em><\/a>A-Rod was recently asked by his namesake host what their relationship was like. She is, to my mind, the best performer and live performer in the world.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"><\/aside>\n<p>JLo, arguably, makes the same argument regarding her icon status as well as hard work in this new documentary <em>Halftime<\/em>For Netflix subscribers, streaming now The documentary focuses on her preparations for Shakira&#8217;s 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, but it also addresses her struggles to be accepted and taken seriously by the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>A-Rod was absent from the footage despite him being engaged to her at the time. There is evidence that A-Rod was there for the halftime show preparation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tLCIqTd0bs8\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tLCIqTd0bs8\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube channel<\/a>.) Someone who was actually featured was Ben Affleck, who asked his pop star fianc\u00e9e if fame &#8220;bothers&#8221; her. Supposedly, the ESPN broadcaster wasn\u2019t too salty by the snub but, if we\u2019re reading between the liens correctly, he might\u2019ve just thrown a teeny tiny bit of shade of his own. Because he added to Martha Stewart that he\u2019s \u201cnever been healthier, happier and more grateful\u201dIn his life.<\/p>\n<p>The tail end of JLo and A-Rod\u2019s relationship was reportedly quite the dramatic affair. The Season 7 reunion of <em>Southern Charm<\/em>Bravo&#8217;s reality show, The Minnesota Timberwolves, was filmed in Minnesota. It featured the co-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Madison LeCroy as one of its stars. Rodriguez denied any sex, even though LeCroy claimed they spoke only over the phone. Rumours of breakups and crying children continued to circulate for weeks, until the once-beloved couple split.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Hustlers<\/em> actress was then later seen out and about with her ex-fianc\u00e9 Ben Affleck. The 49-year-old eventually made a sudsy bathtub proposal to JLo \u2013 obviously, she said yes. According to some reports, they may be ringing the marriage bells sooner than expected.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s only been 16-plus years in the making, after all. A-Rod is currently rumored to be dating Kathryne Padgett (24-year-old influencer). Martha Stewart casually asked him about deets.
