Friday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2022\/07\/15\/ricky-martin-alleged-domestic-violence-victim-nephew-incest-facing-50-years-prison\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ reported<\/a> that the singer\u2019s brother, Eric Martin, identified the alleged victim as Martin\u2019s 21-year-old nephew, according to the Spanish news site <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marca.com\/en\/lifestyle\/music\/2022\/07\/14\/62cf4501268e3e3d758b4606.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marca<\/a>. However, attorney Martin Singer asserts that Martin\u2019s nephew is \u201cstruggling with deep mental health challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRicky Martin has, of course, never been \u2014 and would never be \u2014 involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew,\u201dSinger stated that he was going to release a statement. <em>Variety<\/em>. \u201cThe idea is not only untrue, it is disgusting. We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner was not identified when the restraining orders were presented on July 2. Puerto Rican outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elvocero.com\/escenario\/farandula\/conceden-orden-de-protecci-n-por-ley-54-contra-ricky-martin\/article_826c67d6-fa44-11ec-94c3-df6cc2abe83e.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">El Vocero reported<\/a>Martin was allegedly involved in the alleged action from a woman he had dated for seven years. At the time, the petitioner stated that Martin had denied the separation and had been seen several times near their home.<\/p>\n<p>According to TMZ Martin will appear in court on July 21st.
