Recently <em>BMW <\/em>alumni Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong shed light on why Cory\u2019s little sister, Morgan, switched actresses mid-show. The three podcast hosts were able to meet George Feeny himself, William Daniels, this week. Although Daniels&#8217; career spans back to the 1950s and includes many roles, his most memorable role is the one on TGIF. The beloved star has many admirers, and he recalls a hilarious fan encounter that Feeny would have enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>The 95-year old actor enjoyed a good conversation with his former castmates. <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/4eu3zE0EF8S7bEhSVSRP0J?si=Y_67ox5nQwel0sQrSuBcTA\" data-url=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/4eu3zE0EF8S7bEhSVSRP0J?si=Y_67ox5nQwel0sQrSuBcTA\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Pod Meets World<\/em><\/a>The conversation centered on his impressive career and the project Ben Savage, series lead, didn&#8217;t participate in. Of course, the conversation soon turned to fanbases and which of William Daniels&#8217; is the most spirited \u2013 that of the ABC sitcom, the acclaimed medical drama <em>St. St.<\/em>Or the musical film <em>1776<\/em>? Yes, that is what the revered thespian stated. <em>Boy Meets World<\/em>It takes the number one spot. The Emmy winner demonstrated this by talking about a conversation he had with overzealous young fans while he was out walking with his wife in New York.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I can still remember New York. [I&#8217;m] on a street, and a bus came by, I\u2019m walking along. Now, that\u2019s a sight, but the response definitely fits the fictional educator&#8217;s personality. The situation also shows how much people love William Daniels who once enthusiastically endorsed Taylor Swift&#8217;s albums. Bonnie Bartlett (another actress) has a vivid memory of the incident. She also reflected on it with another wild encounter.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>He said to me: \u2018Sorry, I\u2019ll see you later.\u2019 They terrified him, they absolutely terrified him. They are especially common in New York. When Bill wrote a book and we went to a signing\u2026 they chased us around, jumped on the car, did all sorts of things.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>It&#8217;s amazing to hear, but it&#8217;s true when you&#8217;re on a show such as <em>Boy Meets World<\/em>The book, which has remained popular for nearly thirty years, is still a huge hit with people. Your presence can stir up powerful emotions. Even a book signing could become a concert in the Beatles&#8217; style. The <em>Knight Rider<\/em> alum was (and continues to be) everybody\u2019s favorite wise and hard-nosed teacher.
