Elon Musk\u00a0does not deny a report that he and a top executive welcomed twins last year. The Tesla CEO shared a series tweets on July 7 that seemed to confirm this news.<\/p>\n

In a tweet, the 51-year-old\u00a0SpaceX executive said, “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”He also gave a message of encouragement to his critics “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!” Musk spoke out after\u00a0Business Insider<\/em><\/a>\u00a0reported on July 7 that he and Shivon Zilllis, the head of operations and special projects at Musk’s company Neuralink, had twins in November 2021.<\/p>\n

The outlet reports that Zilis and Musk filed two petitions to change the names of their children in Travis County, Texas, in March. “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as their middle name.”\u00a0Business Insider<\/em>\u00a0chose not to reveal the twins’ names due to privacy concerns. According to the news site, a judge approved Austin’s name change one month after Musk & Zillis filed their petition. Zilis and Musk never spoke publicly about their children.<\/p>\n

According to her LinkedIn profile Zilis has been working for Musk’s companies since years. She is currently the director of operations at Neuralink. Musk is co-chief executive. The company develops brain-computer interfaces. Zilis was Tesla\u2019s project director from 2017 to 2019. She is also a member of the OpenAI board, an artificial intelligence research organisation for which Mr. Musk was the founding chairman.<\/p>\n
