OutDaughteredTLC’s hit series “The Simpsons” Adam BusbyAnd Danielle BusbyAs they raise their six daughters. Although the series is expected to celebrate its ninth season in 2022 and has received limited news about its return, it could still be a success. Here’s what we know about the future of OutDaughtered.

Meet the Busbys

Adam and Danielle Busby married in 2006 but struggled to conceive. Blayke Louise was born in 2011 with artificial insemination. They decided to have another child four years later. The family got way more than they bargained for, as Danielle ended up giving birth to quintuplets—and all five were girls.

There were also health problems. Danielle gave birth at 28 weeks. This is considered very preterm. The heart murmurs of all five babies were treated with medication. They spent their first few months on this planet in intensive medical care. All five survived. The new normal for the eight-member family was established in summer 2015. It’s the only American family with an all-female set of quintuplets.

The Film Crew:

The Busbys also welcomed a TLC film crew to their home that year. OutdaughteredIt premiered on May 10, 2016, After a short season, the second season was much longer and aired in just a few more months. It’s been consistent ratings hit for the network, regularly clocking in around 1.2 million viewers. TLC should be proud of its ratings, which are strong again. Right?

Where’s Season Nine?

The absence of new OutDaughteredContent is raising eyebrows. The 2019 season aired two seasons. The 2020 season aired in June. The eighth season’s last episode aired on May 4, 2021. This was the longest run the network has made with new Busby content in its history since the series’ debut. TLC and the family did not confirm the release date of the ninth season.

We know nothing except what Adam wrote on Instagram on March 21, 2022. A fan requested information on the series’ return. Adam had this to share: “We need to make a video about this soon, just to give our fans our thought process and why we haven’t spoken in this yet. It would be too difficult in text in the comment section. It’s 100% a decision that we made with our kid’s and our family’s best interest at heart. Thank you so much for loving our family!”

Adam’s Instagram bio still lists lists “#OutDAUGHTEREDon @TLC,”He ended every Instagram post with the exact same hashtag. The family is alive and well which is what matters most, but it sounds like they’re doing some soul searching on if the program should continue at all. It will be seen if they decide to continue the program. OutDaugtheredReturns or no returns
