Matty frequently shared his works via social media and engaged with others through Instagram live.
Is Matty GZ still alive?
Klo Vizionz worked alongside Matty on RGK and confirmed his death on November 3, 2022.
He wrote the following: “R.I.P Matty GZ.”
After many people made reaction videos to Matty’s work, Matty quickly became a household name in the rap scene.
He did however split opinion with the music community when he was arrested for gunpoint robbery charges in August 2022.
Court documents state that Matty and an accomplice robbed a dirtbike while threatening the victim using a firearm.
The victim, who owned a car and dirt bike, had approached the car to retrieve a rucksack of cash when Matthew’s accomplice allegedly took out his gun, pointed it at the victim, before fleeing on the dirt bike.
According to the document, the pair received $2,000 cash in the end for their cycle.
Matty was charged for robbery. Petit larceny. Menacing. And harassment. He was released on a $25,000.001 bail.
A police precinct was also allegedly tagged by the rapper while he was in custody.
Matty’s cause has not yet been announced as of this writing.
His passing was greeted with condolences via social media. Many posted “R.I.P”Instagram and Twitter are two examples.
