While they admit that starting a family business can seem daunting, it is not difficult for the Culpos. Olivia Culpo and her family are from Boston and have grown to love the food there — so much so, that Peter Culpo decided to become a restaurateur (viaProvidence Journal). Olivia decided that she wanted to start her own business and joined her father.
Providence Journal reported that in 2017 a father-daughter team and several investors opened a restaurant in Rhode Island. Olivia said that it was not about money, but more important. She shared this, “That’s what this restaurant is for. I’m not in it for the money. It’s about seeing family build a business from the ground up.” Peter and Olivia did not stop there. In 2022 they opened a second restaurant in Rhode Island.Providence Journal). Evidently, the pair enjoy it together and bond well over.
Olivia’s mom tends towards the private side.Classic FMSusan Culpo (sugar’s mom) is an accomplished musician. She plays the violin. Susan is a member of the Boston Symphony Group and has performed in one. It seems Olivia also picked up some of her mom’s musical abilities, as she has played the cello for 13 years. Susan seemed happy and maybe even gave some advice to the influencer.
