Where Pussycat Dolls are now – Refusing to rejoin group to successful TV career

The Pussycat Dolls rose to fame in the 2000s but had a turbulent relationship. Since separating, what have the OG members been up to?

Founded in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin, the band were originally a burlesque group in California. However, it didn’t take long for the girls to top the charts with iconic songs such as Don’t Cha, Jai Ho, and When I Grow Up.

After splitting in 2010 the group recently had a reunion in 2019 with all but Melody Thompson uniting. Now over a decade since their original split, what have the girls been up to?

Let’s take a look at where the Pussycat Dolls are now.

Carmit Bachar

Carmit Bachar was the first to leave the group back in 2008. It was a year and a bit before the band’s official split.

Her dreams of pursuing a solo career were short-lived before she created a duo group, LadyStation with Sammy Jay.

In 2011, she gave birth to her daughter Keela Rose with husband Kevin Whitaker.

In 2019 it was announced she rejoined the dream team for the 2020 reunion tour. They then released their comeback song React February of that year.

Nicole Scherzinger

Possibly the most famous of the group, Nicole Scherzinger has had the most successful solo career of The Pussycat Dolls, with songs as such as Don’t Hold Your Breath.

However, it may be her judging stints that have given her the most fame since the band split. Nicole was a judge on The X-Factor from 2012 and dated Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, on and off for many years.

She’s also hit the movie scene by voicing Sina in Moana.

Now, Nicole is dating rugby star Thom Evans and looks happier than ever!

Ashley Roberts

Like many of The Pussycat Dolls members, Ashley pursued a solo career. Though, it’s probably as a TV personality that she found the most fame.

After appearing on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2012, Ashley frequented British screens often, particularly on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

In 2018 she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing where she finished second to Stacey Dooley.

Kimberly Wyatt

Joining later than the others, Kimberly Wyatt was in The Pussycat Dolls from 2003 until their split in 2010.

Like Nicole, Kimberly became a judge on Got To Dance. She then formed the group Her Majesty & the Wolves with Spencer Nezey.

She became the only female celebrity contestant to reach the final in Dancing On Ice 2022.

In 2014 she married model Max Rogers and the two reside in the UK. They share three children together, Willow (eight), Maple Lyla (five) and Ford Senna (two).

Melody Thornton

Along with Kimberly, melody joined in 2003, adding a soprano vocalist The Pussycat Dolls.

Once the group split she appeared on many shows including Dancing on Ice, Celebs Go Dancing and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls. Like most of the group, she pursued a solo career but unfortunately, it never took off in the big leagues.

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter did try to revamp her solo career back in 2019, with her single Love Will Return.

After deciding not to reunite with the others in 2019, Melody joined Rip It Up The Show, a 70s musical.
