Airport travel can be one the most frustrating parts of holiday.

Some passengers are able to skip long lines and crowds by using one of the most luxurious lounges in Britain.

British Airway’s Concorde Room is located inside London Heathrow Terminal 5. It is reserved exclusively for First Class BA customers.

Tourists will either need to depart London in First Class or travel from the UK using a First Class ticket.

A Concorde Room Card will allow guests to access the club, however you must earn 5,000 Tier points per year in order to become a member.

You can access the lounge from 5am to 10:30pm each day so you don’t need to be early in the morning.

If you are one of these lucky passengers you may be able to check in via the First Wing located at the southern end of Terminal 5. Then, proceed to the designated security queue.

Continue walking forward, following the signs for a left turn, out of Galleries First lounge. Follow dark corridors to Concorde Room entrance.

You don’t have to worry about going through security at the general airport. There’s an entrance right after South Security which leads you to Concorde Room. However, you will need to present your boarding pass.

Once inside, there’s a lot to explore – including a cocktail bar and a lounge that serves £175 bottles of champagne and an à la carte menu.

For breakfast, you can expect Eggs Benedict and a Full English. Later in the morning, sea bass or mushroom-bourguignon pie will be available.

An outdoor terrace provides views from the British Airways fleet, as well as of the terminal below.

The 13-foot British Airways Concorde airplane can be spotted by aviation enthusiasts. It was a British Airways Concorde, and it was used for 5,000 flights from 1979 through 2003.

It’s even better to bring a friend, since an additional passenger not travelling in first class can also be allowed into the lounge.

Do not get carried away, it will take you at least 15 minutes before reaching your gate.

You can still access the lounge if you are not eligible.
