Keene has the opportunity of a lifetime. He is allowed to enter a maximum security prison for the criminally insane in exchange for his freedom. There, he will be able to meet Larry Hall, a suspected serial killer. Also, he will find out the burial sites of several young girls.

However, Keene’s task is not an easy one as there are doubts about whether Hall’s answers are the truth or just more tales from a serial liar.

What are the episodes of Black Bird?

Will there be a season two?

Black Bird is not returning to Apple TV+ for a second season.

That’s because the drama has been billed as a limited mini-series, which means its story is told over just one season before ending.

Black Bird earns its limited series status as it is based on the true events detailed in the 2010 autobiographical novel In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, And A Dangerous Bargain For Redemption written by the real James Keene.

Like the series, the novel details Keene’s experiences in prison but there is no sequel to the novel and therefore, a second season would not be possible.

Black Bird can be streamed now Apple TV+After releasing July 8, 2022.
