“Wednesday” isn’t Tim Burton’s first brush with The Addams Family

The world will soon meet Wednesday Addams, the youngest member of the fictional Addams Family, in a new version this November. The streaming series features Jenna Ortega playing the titular character. It is partly produced and partially directed in part by Tim Burton, the legendary filmmaker. As it turns out, Burton’s Addams family has been decades in the making.

Tim Burton’s Has A Long History With The Fictional Family

Tim Burton’s films have an undeniable style. His most well-known flicks combine dark aesthetics and some of his lightest, most uplifting themes. So, when Netflix announced that Burton would be at the helm of the latest addition to the Addams Family’s extended canon, it immediately seemed like a match made in heaven. Fans may not be aware of how perfectly the pair is.
