Venkatesh Starrer “Narappa” Is Ready For A Direct OTT Release On Prime Video

The streaming Goliath, Amazon Prime is ready to drop some mind-boggling bombs in the upcoming months. With the downfall of the theatres due to pandemics, the OTT platforms have flourished to be the ultimate source of entertainment for the people. All the big-budget films are shifting to different OTT platforms to get a direct online release. After the Bollywood movies, now the Telugu filmmakers are also leaning towards the big OTT platforms to premiere their movies. With the news about the third wave of covid-19, producers are ready to drop their movies on the OTT platforms. 

 

Superstar Venkatesh’s much-awaited film “Narappa” has finally closed a deal with the streaming giant, Amazon Prime. It’s been a long time since the makers were waiting for the theatres to restart their business and launch the movie on a large scale. But, the current pandemic situations are unfavorable for the theatrical premiere. So, Suresh Babu, the producer of “Narappa” has grabbed an amazing deal with Amazon Prime. 

“Narappa” Will Debut On Amazon Prime Videos!!

“Narappa” is one of the highly anticipated movies of Venkatesh. It’s a rustic rural drama film starring the top actors of the Telugu industry. Earlier the movie was scheduled for a pan-India release on May 13, 2021. However, the pandemic turned the cards, and the theatres were shut down. The makers were waiting for things to get back to normal. But looking at the present condition they were compelled to change their decision. 

The makers are now ready to release “Narappa” directly on Amazon Prime. The streaming service has bagged the digital rights of the film at a whopping price. Previously, the streaming Goliath has grabbed the rights for Venkatesh’s starrer “Drushyam 2” and now it “Narappa”. So, the fan-favorite star is gearing up to entertain the Amazon Prime subscribers with two massy movies. 

“Narappa” is the official remake of the Tamil blockbuster movie “Asuran”. Venkatesh is returning to the screens under the direction of Srikanth Addala.
