Vasilisa Kaganova breaks the silence about her separation from Valeriy Anopol

Vasilisa Kaganoskaya finally broke her silence and spoke out on Instagram about the decision she made to terminate her skating partnership with Valeriy Angol.

Valeriy has been working with Vasilisa for several years and the two have won awards together. They were adored by their fans who shared videos of them performing on social networks. The two formed a bond which led to many fan accounts on Instagram and TikTok. On August 31, Vasilisa & Valeriy confirmed they would no longer be skating together.

Vasilisa announced on August 31 that she will no longer perform with Valeriy. On Instagram, Vasilisa explained that she and Valeriy had been in conflict for a while, but on July 4, Valeriy said he did not want to continue training with her.

Vasilisa alleged that Valeriy stated that the reason was that he wasn’t pleased with her training. The two were able to put aside their differences and continue with training. While Vasilisa thought everything was fine, things changed a couple of days ago when Valeriy brought in a contract and stated that he wouldn’t go on with the training unless the paper was signed by September 1.

Vasilisa, unhappy with the terms of her contract with Valeriy, decided that it was best for them to part ways. The post ended with a thank you to all her fans.

The duo have been able to earn several awards in the 5 years of partnership. In addition to the Russian Grand Prix Final 2023 champions and the Russian Junior Silver Medalists of 2021, they also won the Gold medal at the JGP Slovenia in 2021, as well as another silver medal during the JGP Slovakia 2021.

Vasilisa, who has ended their partnership with her partner, is waiting for a replacement. Valeriy is yet to decide if he will go alone or seek a new partner.
