Upcoming Disney Movies: Complete List of Titles and Release Dates

Disney has had the largest box office years of any studio in recent history. It has made so many blockbuster films in the past few years that it is beginning to look easy. And if you look at all the movies it will be making in the next few decades, you’ll see that the studio is no slowing down.

There are many properties the entertainment company has, plus Fox joining the team just a few months ago. This means there is a seemingly endless amount of movies planned for this decade. Here’s the latest release calendar: They have everything, no matter your interest, whether animated or live-action, super heroes or science fiction. This is the place to go for all things Disney including Star Wars, Marvel movies and upcoming Fox films. This list includes all movies from the conglomerate for the remainder of the year and beyond.

Amsterdam

Release Date:October 7, 2022

AmsterdamThe new film by David O. Russell. His first movie for seven years. An all-star cast includes Margot Robbie and John David Washington. The film follows three actors as they play a doctor, nurse and lawyer as they become suspects in a case of murder in the 1930s. AmsterdamIt certainly seems like the kind of movie that would be in the Oscar conversation. We’ll find out soon how likely that is to happen.

The Banshees Inisherin

Release Date:October 21, 2022

Fans In Bruges, and we know you’re out there, are going to want to check out The Banshees in Inisherin. Martin McDonagh, Colin Farrell, and Brendan Gleeson are reunited in the movie. Two old friends are reunited when one of them decides to end the friendship. Although it is a more character-driven story, it is still a small one. Wakanda Forever: Black Panther

After the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman, there was much speculation about the planned sequel. Black PantherIt could happen. Even though we don’t know the whole story, Wakanda Forever: Black PantherThe movie is expected to arrive in theaters soon. Based on the title, it looks like the film will address the same loss. This is the trailer. We will receive a new Black PantherThe end is near, but it’s not clear what this will mean for the story or the MCU in general.

It’s still a bit strange to have horror movies produced under the umbrella of Disney. The MenuAnya Taylor-Joy stars as Nicholas Hoult, while Nicholas Hoult is a guest at a special dinner party hosted by Ralph Fiennes. Things quickly go south, and while The Menu is a horror movie, it’s also full of its share of dark comedy, making it something that might appeal to a broader audience.

Strange World

Walt Disney Animation Studios was a huge success with its fans. Encanto,However, the next feature will take us in a completely different direction. Strange World. In a story that is inspired by pulp adventure stories of the early 20th century, music will be replaced by action as Jake Gyllenhaal leads a cast to discover a new world deep within the earth.

Directed By The Good Dinosaur’s Peter Sohn, we have yet to see a great deal about this one, but if past is prologue, it’s looking like another hit.

Indiana Jones will make his return after 15 years. Although the plot and the title are still unknown, we do know that it will be a return. The Marvels

What was once called Captain Marvel 2Now known as The Marvels. The title of the project is all that is known. However, it implies a lot. WandaVisionMonica Rambeau was granted superpowers, and we now know that Iman Vellani (who debuted as Iman Vellani) is also a superhero. Ms. MarvelShe was also a co-star in her Disney+ series before this film. It is possible that both will join forces with Brie Hanson’s Carol Danvers. However, the end result remains to be determined.

Haunted Mansion

The studio is a bit hit and miss in terms of its ability to create. Movies based on Disney Theme Park Rides. A movie that was based on the popular music was one of the earlier failures. Haunted Mansion. But, never let it be said they won’t try again after a failure. The new movie stars Rosario Dawson as a woman who moves into the titular New Orleans mansion, but then needs to find help when she discovers it’s already inhabited, but 999 happy haunts.

True LoveThis title sounds like it would be a good choice for a romantic comedy, but the movie will most likely be something more. Directed by Gareth Edwards and starring John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ken Wantanabe, and more, the movie is actually a science fiction film, though at this point that’s about all we know for sure, as Edwards isn’t saying much else about his new movie.

Blade

Release Date:November 3, 2023

We first saw it at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and we were thrilled to have it. Mahershala Ai would play BladeIn the same moment, we also learned about BladeThe Marvel Cinematic Universe was the setting for this movie. At this point, that’s still basically all we know. But, the movie has a release date so we know it’s on the way.

Wish

Release Date:November 22, 2023

WishOfficially confirmed at D23 Expo 2022, and while few details are known, it looks to be an animated feature in the company’s tradition. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, both of the previous The. Frozen franchise, the film will follow a new Disney Princess named Asha, who’s voiced by Oscar winner Ariana DeBose. According to reports, the story will include many Disney easter eggs and a star Asha wishes upon.

Elio

Release Date:March 1, 2024

ElioThis is the story about an 11-year old boy who finds himself transported across the galaxy and mistakenly becomes an ambassador for Earth. Yonas Kiraba, a newcomer to the series, will be voicing Elio and America Ferrera his mother. Adrian Molina is the co-director. CocoThis will be his first solo directorial effort at Pixar.

Florence Pugh’s Yelena, David Harbour’s Red Guardian, and Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster, all from Black Widow. The team will also include Wyatt Russell’s US Agent from The Falcon and Winter Soldier and Hannah John Kamen’s Ghost from Ant-Man and The Wasp.
