Samsung is offering customers up to four months of ad-free YouTube – at no extra cost. And three additional freebies are also up for grabs.
The tech giant is currently promoting the special deals accompanying its Galaxy S23 series.
When you buy a Galaxy S23 or S23+, you can access YouTube and YouTube Music ad-free for up to four months.
YouTube Premium is YouTube – but without ads.
With YouTube Premium service normally costing $13.99 a month, you will save a total $55.96 over the four-month period.
To access this freebie, firstly open the YouTube app on your Samsung Galaxy device.
Go to your account/profile and log in or create an account.
Next, tap GetYouTube Premium, before selecting “try it free.”
Just complete the sign-up and start streaming.
The second freebie on offer is six months of 100GB OneDrive cloud storage.
“Sync your gallery with OneDrive and enjoy six months of 100GB OneDrive cloud storage with Galaxy S23 and S23+,” said Samsung.
This trial offer is exclusively available on all Samsung phones that are OneDrive-gallery sync capable and have an Android 8.0 or more recent system.
But you’ll need to be quick, as the offer ends on June 30, 2024.
To redeem this freebie, open the gallery app settings on your eligible Samsung device and tap switch to OneDrive.
Follow the prompts to link your Samsung and Microsoft OneDrive accounts.
Once this is complete, eligible customers can redeem the offer through the OneDrive app.
What is YouTube Premium?
YouTube Premium is a YouTube paid subscription service that was launched on November 14, 2014.
With a YouTube Premium membership, members can watch ad-free videos on the platform.
Plus, they can download videos to watch offline when no internet service or Wi-Fi is available.
Perhaps most notably, subscribers can play videos in the background while they use other apps.
YouTube Music Premium is also included in a YouTube Premium membership
Samsung customers can also access SiriusXM streaming for free, for four months.
This offer is available for redemption until June 30, 2024.
