APPLE fans have taken to Reddit to praise a lesser-known iPhone trick. It’s great for music lovers who like to add to their playlists. The tip was posted to the popular Reddit forum r/iphone. It has over four million members and describes itself as “Reddit’s little corner for iPhone lovers (and some people who just mildly enjoy it…).” One Reddit user posted about the trick by stating TIL, which stands for today I learned.
“TIL that you can drag songs onto the Now Playing bar to add anywhere to Play Next,” the Redditor wrote. They even included a video of the trick and you can view a clip above that demonstrates it. All you have to do is hold down a song on Apple Music that you’d like to listen to. Then, drag it down to the Now Playing bar and hover over it without letting go. The playlist you’re listening to should pop up. You can then drop the song wherever you would like in that playlist. This is a better alternative than adding the song to your queue, as it can play in the order you want.
Other iPhone users took to the comment section to praise the trick. “I’m a big Apple Fan boy and I rarely get caught out by these TIL posts, but even as a day 1 Apple Music user, you just taught me something new!” one person wrote. “Whaaaaaat?!? omg this is so useful,” another Redditor said. “Damnnnn, I had no idea this was a thing,” another added.
