The WORLD leaders have condemned the “atrocities and war crimes”After the horrific shelling of civilians at Kyiv, Russia has taken responsibility for Ukraine.
After these bloodthirsty strikes the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zilensky called upon his international allies to condemn Vladimir Putin’s brutal attacks.
An emergency broadcast by the service confirmed this morning that at least 19 people had been killed in the attacks.
These strikes were strongly condemned by the world’s leaders. The US President Joe Biden has criticized them. “utter brutality of Mr Putin’s illegal war on the Ukrainian people.”
Mr Biden added: “We offer our condolences to the families and loved ones of those who were senselessly killed today, as well as our best wishes for the recovery of those who were wounded. We will continue to impose costs on Russia for its aggression, hold Putin and Russia accountable for its atrocities and war crimes, and provide the support necessary for Ukrainian forces to defend their country and their freedom.”

Dmitry Medvedev (the former Russian President) warned “there will be others”Today’s missile attacks on Ukraine.
Putin’s all-worded statement was posted to social media “Ukraine would be a constant, direct and clear threat to Russia.”
He said: “The aim of our future actions must be the full dismantling of the political regime in Ukraine.”
The foreign ministries of India are “deeply concerned”Following today’s escalation of events in Ukraine.
Arindam Bagchi, India’s spokesperson, said that India is ready to help “all attempts”at de-escalation and halting the war in Ukraine.
“We reiterate that escalation of hostilities is in no one’s interest,”He said.
“We urge immediate cessation of hostilities and the urgent return to the path of diplomacy and dialogue.”

Another 370 soldiers were killed, bringing the total Russian personnel loss to 62 870.
For security reasons, the International Committee of the Red Cross temporarily stopped its work in Ukraine.

“Ukrainians are succeeding, and Britain will stand right behind them as we continue to provide vital military aid in Ukraine’s fight for freedom.”
Today, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine with 83 missiles.
On Monday, a deadly wave of strikes was launched against many cities in Ukraine including Kyiv. It caused massive destruction and left behind shattered buildings and cars.
China’s Foreign Ministry has called for de-escalation in Ukraine after explosions rocked several cities including Kyiv.
After a blast at a bridge connecting Crimea and Russia, the blasts appeared to be Russian revenge strikes.
Mao Ning, spokesperson of the Ministry said: “We hope the situation will deescalate soon,”
In a video posted to the official TikTok account for Ukraine, President Zelensky denied the suggestion that Putin would need to die in order to bring an end to the war.
When asked if Putin would live if Ukraine wins war, he replied: “I don’t care.”
This is just a few days after a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia resulted in the deaths of 13 Ukrainians, including a child.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, met today with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for a G7 summit.
On Twitter, he said: “Agreed with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany holding presidency of G7 on an urgent meeting of the Group.
“My speech is scheduled, in which I’ll tell about the terrorist attacks by [Russia Federation].
“We also discussed the issue of increasing pressure on RF & aid in restoring damaged infrastructure.”
Antony Blinken (US Secretary of State) has taken to Twitter today to express his support for Ukraine following today’s attack.
He replied: “I just spoke to you.” @DmytroKuleba to reiterate U.S. support for Ukraine following the Kremlin’s horrific strikes this morning.
“We will continue to provide unwavering financial, humanitarian, security assistance so Ukraine is able to defend itself, take care of its citizens.”
Residents of Kyiv were heard singing inside a metro station, where they sought shelter from the sound of air raid sirens.
A Russian missile struck a bridge in Kyiv, while a horrifying photo shows a crater formed near a Taras Shevchenko children’s park.
