This criticism is not new to DoorDasher. However, it has led to other payment structures for Dashers looking for more stability in delivering meals on the app. Turn on “Earn from Time Mode” to earn if your area of delivery is one where it can be difficult to get food to customers.

DoorDash will pay $14 an hour for delivery services, plus you are actively accepting orders via the app. You earn 100% on tipsThis could make it a more appealing option.

You can also disable the app if it is possible to make a lot of money while you deliver for the app. This way you might be able to earn $40 an hour like the one delivery worker who delivered food.
