After a Florida parachuting accident, Travis Pastrana, a competitor in Motosports, was taken to the hospital.
Pastrana (38), jumped from Fort Lauderdale’s downtown High-rise to attempt to reach Huizenga Plaza, where he was hoping for a web series.
The incident was captured on videoThe stuntman is seen trying to control his parachute after jumping off the high-rise.
Pastrana fell to the ground and his publicist reported that Pastrana had broken his pelvis. According to WSVN, a local Florida outlet.
“A stunt during that event did not go as planned resulting in a hard landing of a parachutist that jumped from the Hyatt Hotel,”Stephen Gollan from Ft. Lauderdale Fire told TMZ that he was the chief of firefighting.
Pastrana was admitted to surgery and is expected fully to recover, according to reports.
