A doctor has shown how twins can have different fathers.
This is a rare event, but it is possible. Here are two ways it could happen.

Newborn intensive care specialist Dr Michael Narvey guided his TikTok followers through this process.
According to the Winnipeg-based specialist of 49 years, twins can have different dads if they are raised by two parents. “a woman has sex with two different men prior to her ovulation and the sperm are present in the fallopian tubes when two eggs are released”.
He also said that it is possible for a woman to have sex with two men after she has ovulated. The sperm will then be able fertilise two eggs.
Dr Michael claimed it is an “exceedingly rare event”It shouldn’t happen to anyone, so people shouldn’t worry about it.
The video has been viewed over 15,000 time, and viewers were fascinated by the scientific term, superfecundation.
One person commented: “Excuse me doc…What did you just say to me?”
Another one: “I thought you were saying a bad word.”
This is a common process in other animals like dogs, cats, and cows.
This is a deliberate strategy used by females to increase their chances of having multiple offspring.
Humans, however, are not able to have many babies at once.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be sex between multiple partners or in quick succession.
If sperm survives for just a few days in a female reproductive tract and if a woman has two eggs at once, this rare event is possible.
The odds of this happening are low. It would require sperm to survive for several days from both males and double the number of eggs released in one cycle.
Experts had previously estimated that 1 in 13 000 people could have a chance of winning, although experts now agree that it is entirely guesswork.

Only ten cases have been recorded in the world. However, there will be many more.
