The DC Extended Universe had a quiet 2021. DC released only one new movie in 2021, while Marvel produced a lot of movies and shows. James Gunn The Suicide SquadDC Films released the movie “The Last of DC Films” in theaters on 2021. Warner Bros. also released this movie. Zack Snyder’s Justice LeagueHBO Max, while many live action and animated DC shows continued running. While 2021 is over, DC still has many new movies and shows in the pipeline for 2022.

This is a reboot. Don’t expect it to be the same story as Zack Snyder’s DC movies. The movie will instead focus on Batman’s earlier years of crimefighting. Paul Dano and Colin Farrell will be battling Bruce Wayne. According to IMDb The BatmanIt is actually the most anticipated film of 2022, beating Marvel’s slate.

Superman’s pet dog Krypto, played by Dwayne Johnson, is captured by Lex Luthor and formed a team with other superpowered shelter animals. Also included in the cast are Natasha Lyonne (Vanessa Bayer), Diego Luna, John Krasinski and Marc Maron.

Although the Snyderverse is dead, his Justice League continues to live. Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen (aka The Flash), in this solo film from 2022. Barry will go back in history to stop his mother’s death in The Flash. He will also meet Michael Keaton, the Batman from Tim Burton’s movies. Ben Affleck may also be returning for his final time in the role.

Aquaman (Jason Momoa), another member of the Justice League is returning in a sequel. Aquaman and The Lost KingdomThis sequel to the 2018 film will be directed once more by James Wan. Dolph Lundgren (amber Heard), Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman all reprise their roles. Vincent Regan plays Atlan, Jani Zhou as Stingray, Indya Moore is Karshon, and Jani Zhao as Stingray. This is the last DCEU movie for 2022.

His January reboot is Get a spinoff of HBO MaxJohn Cena donned the helmet of Peacemaker once more. This series will explore the history of Peacemaker, and tell us about what happened afterwards. The Suicide Squad ended.
