As exciting as the first season AndorHas been, Star Wars shows aren’t all that Disney Plus has to offer. Four original shows were launched on Disney Plus this week. Zootopia+Disney Plus now streaming
Disney has the flexibility to develop some properties that don’t need full-length sequels through its own streaming platform. One of the most impressive examples is Baymax!This is the companion robot for healthcare. Big Hero 6He helps San Fransokyo residents overcome their fears.
Similarly, Zootopia+ returns to the city from one of Disney’s best movies of the 2010s to see what the supporting cast has been up to since then. Yes, this includes the hilariously slow sloth from DMV who is on a very deliberate date during one episode.
The Tatami Time Machine Blues (is missing)
Also, I was very excited to see the anime series. The Tatami Time Machine BluesIt would only be available on Disney Plus in the US. It was initially set to launch on November 9th alongside the other shows on this list, but it’s nowhere to be found. It was even pulled from the November release schedule by Disney, suggesting that it may be delayed or canceled.
The series is based upon a novel by Tomihiko Morimi, Makoto Ueda and follows a man who accidentally destroys the remote control of the AC unit in his boardinghouse by pouring soda on it. He builds a time machine to get back in time to save the remote.
Disney Plus now has two new reality series
Lastly, Disney Plus has two new reality series streaming this week. The first is Save Our Squad with David Beckham, which follows former soccer superstar Beckham as he tries to help an under 14’s squad avoid being relegated.
Another reality series is The MontanersThe Montaner family is revealed in the documentary. If you don’t know the Montaners, Ricardo Montaner is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter that has released 24 albums since the late 1970s. He is one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time, and now you’ll get to meet the rest of his family.
