The past two weeks have been The SandmanNetflix’s most-watched show. Adapted from Neil Gaiman’s comic series of the same name, The SandmanFollow Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams as he attempts rebuild his kingdom after years in prison. On August 5, the first season was released with 10 episodes. Netflix dropped a surprise eleventh bonus episode on Friday. The SandmanThat advances the story.

The eleventh episode is divided into two parts. Part 1. “A Dream of a Thousand Cats,” is the show’s first animated episode. Tom Sturridge returns to Dream, but this time as a cat. He is joined by Sandra Oh, Rosie Day and Micheal Sheen as Crow.

We tried to create an animated version of ‘A Dream of a Thousand Cats’The magic of oil paintings on canvas was used to make the experience as captivating as possible. To create a world that is both dreamy and grounded, we combined the paintings with 2D animations that were classically drawn. This was based on 3D animations of telepathic cats. Untold Studio’s in London created the breathtaking 3D animation of the cats. The wonderful 2D animation, oil paintings and stylizing were all done at Submarine Studio’s in Amsterdam.
The second part is “Calliope,”This is about “a writer in desperate need of inspiration”That crosses paths with Morpheus. To find out more, watch the episode. Episode 11 also has the longest running time at 64 minutes.
Has Netflix renewed The SandmanSeason 2
Fans want to know if there will ever be another season, no matter how exciting the latest episode may be. Gaiman said that the streaming service is still in process of deciding. “They will want to see how we do for the first month before committing,” Gaiman explained.
Netflix makes questionable decisions regarding renewals at times. That said, it’s pretty hard to imagine The SandmanAfter just one season, the series will end. It is possible that the series will be one of the most watched on the service for a single month.
