The ‘Sex and the City Revival’ Trailer HBO Max

HBO Max’s new trailer for “And Just Like That,”Its revival was “Sex and the City,”Expands on the teaser and reveals where Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), and her gang are 11 years later than they were in the movie “Sex and the City 2.”

Kristin Davis is back as Charlotte and Cynthia Nixon will play Miranda. After issues that have been, Kim Cattrall chose not to return as Samantha the fan-favorite. The trailer appears to reveal that the three women are still married — at least for now — as well as how the new characters will figure into the show.

The 10-episode series will debut on HBO Max Thursday, December 9th with two episodes. It will continue weekly on Thursdays until February 3rd.

“Sex and the City” — which was created by Darren Star, and was overseen for years by Michael Patrick King — ran for six seasons on HBO from 1998 to 2004. It was based on Candace Bushnell’s 1996 book of the same title, and also spurred two movies written and directed by King.

King is running “And Just Like That,” and in the announcement that accompanied the new trailer and key art, HBO Max revealed that he’s written and directed the first two episodes of the revival. Cynthia Nixon has directed the show’s sixth episode. Below are the episode credits.
