On the eve EternalsRed carpet premiere: We learned that Disney delayed many MCU movies, pushing back release dates by several months. The surprise delay impacted all of next year’s MCU movies. It includes the much-anticipated Doctor Strange 2Release delay. Kevin Feige explained it during interviews at the premiere, saying it’s all because of production issues. He said we’d have to wait a few months longer for the MCU movies to come out, without mentioning distribution changes or the pandemic. Earlier reports did say that Disney won’t change the release approach by returning to a day-and-date model that it tried with Black Widow.
Then a rumor emerged, which revealed the possible reason Marvel was forced to delay. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and all of next year’s MCU stories. Marvel fans should be excited if this report proves accurate. Doctor Strange 2 delay. Beware, Below you will find a variety of spoilers.
The many Multiverse of MadnessLeaks
Marvel shot the majority of Doctor Strange 2In early 2021 with reshoots occurring over the summer. Original release date for the film was March 25, 2022, three months after it was made. Spider-Man has no way home premiere. Both movies are multiverse adventures which might be linked. In both movies, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), appears.
With all that in mind, we weren’t surprised to see Multiverse of MadnessIn recent weeks, plot leaks have been gaining momentum. We even witnessed a complete plot leak that revealed every detail about the film. We think we have a good idea of who the main antagonist is, how it plays out, and how the film ends. Leak also revealed most of the major cameos.
We won’t rehash any of those huge spoilers now. However, the point is that we think the 2020 leaks are more sensible than any 2020. Doctor Strange 2Leaks have occurred for the reasons listed above. Details have been completed as the movie is in post-production before its release.
This leads us to the rumor that Marvel chose not to push back. Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Again, I’ll mention that Some spoilers are ahead.
The Dr. Strange 2Release delay
Disney and Marvel may be constantly concerned about the pandemic and poor box office results. These might not be the main reasons to delay the 2022 MCU movie slate. Marvel’s delay in a MCU title can have a significant impact on Phase 4 of the MCU Phase 4 release schedules, since all these projects are interrelated.

The film’s leaks provided us with some exciting cameos, including a Fox X-Men character who may be leading the Illuminati in MCU.
Randolph said that she has received confirmation from sources without naming names. “There are some pretty cool characters that are going to show up as part of the Illuminati,”She said.
The YouTuber said that Multiverse of Madnesswill still be played like a Doctor StrangeMovie rather than an Avengers crossover. But Marvel apparently decided that it needs more characters, so it’s putting them in. The reshoots will, in turn, delay post-production work. And that’s supposedly why the Doctor Strange 2release was delayed.
Other big-time cameos
Many speculations have been made about cameos in the MCU films. Since Eternalsis out now, we are still waiting Spider-Man has no way homeAs the next film. As long as it has been suspected, the multiverse allows us access to the Spider-Men from recent Spider-Man movies starring Andrew Garfield. They might be with Tom Holland.
Recently, it’s possible that photos from the set have leaked to show that is the case. Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil could make surprise appearances. Since the trailer’s first trailer, we know Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), is in the film. With as much patience as possible, we are still waiting for the second trailer.
What about Loki?
For those who love exciting cameos Murphy’s MultiverseUpdated its post regarding the MCU Phase 4 Future with the new release date. The Doctor Strange 2 section still mentions Loki (Tom Hiddleston) as one of the film’s surprise cameos. We’ve always expected to see Loki in the movie, but the detailed plot leak we recently saw made no mention of this character. Loki is partly responsible for the multiverse mess, which is something that Strange doesn’t know yet. Randolph does not mention the God of Mischief. And Murphy’s post isn’t enough to confirm Hiddleston’s involvement in the project.
Finally, there’s one other reason to consider when looking at this movie’s release schedule. Marvel requires time to promote the movie. Because of its ties to Spider-Man has no way homeMarvel may not be able release a trailer before Spider-Man opens in theaters. This would be done in order to not spoil any of the movie’s content.
