The film features Jonathan Majors, Delroy Lindo, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, LaKeith Stanfield, Danielle Deadwyler, Idris Elba, Damon Wayans Jr., R.J. Cyler, Dean Cole, and Edi Gathegi.
The film will mark the feature film debut of writer-director Jaymes Samuel. Earlier, Samuel gained prominence from the 2013 short film, namely ‘They Die by Dawn.’ By the looks of it, the short film featured actors like Giancarlo Esposito and Rosario Dawson.
The film, The Harder They Fall, was written alongside Boaz Yakin, the notable director of Denzel Washington’s “Remember the Titans” and the screenwriter of “Now You See Me’s”.
The Harder They Fall: Plot
Netflix has released the official synopsis of The Harder They Fall. The film talks of Nat Love, played by Jonathan Majors, who discovers that his sworn enemy named Rufus Buck, played by Idris Elba, will be released from the prison.
Love brings a gang together, intending to track Rufus with the intent of seeking revenge. Now Love rides alongside Stagecoach Mary, played by Zazie Beetz, Bill Picket (Gathegi), and Jim Beckwourth (Cyler) and an adversary who turned into a trusting ally.
On the other hand, Rufus has formed his crew, which comprises Trudy Smith (King) and Bill (Stanfield).

The film is produced by Jay-Z, Lawrence Bender, and James Lassiter. The film is all set to release on selected theaters as well as on Netflix this fall.
