The Chair is the forthcoming project, a joint venture between Game of Thrones, David Benioff, Dan Weiss, and Benioff’s wife and popular Hollywood actress Amanda Peet. For a long time, the trio is busy curating the plot, premise of the forthcoming series.

As far as the showrunner of the series is concerned, Pete will be heading the creator and execution of the series and its executive producer. In addition to this, Annie Wyman helms role of the writer will be co-writing the pilot.

The Chair is an integral part of a multi-million dollar project between Netflix and the creators. Also, the forthcoming series is one of the ongoing productions that Weiss and Benioff are trying to make with the assistance of Peet for quite some time now!

The project was announced for the first time back in February 2020. Bighead Littlehead, the famous production company created by Weiss and Benioff, will produce the series. Moreover, the production company is occupied in notable forthcoming projects like Three-Body Problem, Metal Lords, among others.

Sandra Oh will be reprising the lead role in the series, and she will also be helping the role of executive producer. Oh, will be joined by actor and writer Jay Pyplass alongside Holland Taylor.
