Sylvester Stallone created many memorable characters throughout the history of action film cinema. But, without doubt, his most important role has been that of Rocky Balboa. Stallone was the director, star, and writer of the first action movie. RockyFilm, which was both a commercial and critical success. RockyThe franchise has grown into a major one, which Stallone does not appear to own any parts of.
Stallone was the star of six films RockyFilms, and appeared in two more recent films Creed films, but the actor admitted a few years ago that while he may have created Rocky, he doesn’t own even a piece of the character. Stallone is determined to get even a tiny percentage. RockyPublicly known, but the actor has recently spoken out THR that he doesn’t expect to ever get any of the rights. Stallone explained…
No. It’s never gonna happen. It was a deal done by people I thought were close to my heart and they basically gave up any rights I might have. At the time I was so excited to be working and I didn’t understand this is a business. Rocky would live another 45 years. Who would have thought? I’ve never used one [line of dialogue] from anyone else – and the irony is that I don’t own any of it. It’s controlled by people who have done absolutely nothing.
Sylvester Stallone was the first to come up with this idea. RockyHe was virtually unknown in Hollywood and said that to get the movie made and do it the way he wanted, he had no choice but to do what the studio asked him to do.

Stallone here says that there was some interest in doing another. RockyHe requested a portion of the future rights as part of the agreement. It appears that no agreement was reached.
