Silvina Luna, 43 years old: What led to her death?

This actress is not the first to experience a botched cosmetic surgery.

After a reported butt-lifting surgery gone wrong, actress Silvina Moon, 43, died from kidney failure. The Argentinean actress has become the latest victim of a medical mishap. She died just weeks after television host Mariano Caprarola, who also suffered a similar fate after a botched butt lift surgery performed by Aniballotocki.

Luna’s procedure was performed in 2011, and she spent 79 days hospitalized before her brother gave her permission to be removed from life-support. Lotocki performed the surgery in June or July of 2021. It was around this time that another patient, who passed away later on, had also undergone the same procedure.

Luna’s kidney problems were treated from 2015 to her death. She even became so ill that she required dialysis, and waited for a transplant. Luna’s condition deteriorated by June, and soon she was sedated. She then went on an emotional rollercoaster at the hospital. Recent bacterial infections have led her to be on life support and a ventilator, but her brother could decide Thursday.

Angel de Brito, a television entertainment journalist, told the viewers that it was difficult for Silvina to decide the fate of her sister, as she was the only relative who was directly related to her.

Lotocki has been sentenced to four-years in prison and is banned by the court from practising medicine for a period of five years. He remains in freedom, however, while the National Chamber of Criminal Appeals evaluates his punishment.
