Veronica Butler, 27, and her friend Jillian Kelley, 39, vanished while on their way to pick up Butler’s children at their grandmother’s house in a remote area near the Kansas border on March 30th.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, made a grim discovery on April 14th, recovering two bodies linked to the missing women.
Tad Bert Cullum, Tifany Machel Adams, Cole Earl Twombly, and Cora Twombly were apprehended and charged with multiple offenses, including murder and kidnapping, in connection with the case.

The vehicle Butler and Kelley were traveling in was discovered abandoned, with evidence suggesting foul play, according to authorities.
Despite the arrests, the investigation is ongoing, with officials withholding certain details, stating that crucial evidence found in the vehicle cannot be disclosed at this time.
