The Tory conference attendees seemed to be asleep during Yesterday’s speech of deputy PM and Health Secretary Therese Coffey, which is understandable.
During Coffey’s riveting speech, images and clips of audience members with their eyes closed were shared on social media. “will always be on your side, when you need care the most”.
She stated that the government would work to put more people too ill to return to work, which was reinforced by members who even appeared to yawn.
She said: “We know work is good for you, both physically and for mental wellbeing, as well as putting more pounds in your pocket.
“That is why I will strive to support those not working now due to ill health, to help them to start, stay, and succeed in work; building on the Prime Minister’s pledge to have more mental health support in communities.

She may not be the best speaker, considering how the people looked at her in the audience. Their naps weren’t unnoticed via social media.
The Tories have had a tough conference with Kwasi Kwarteng’s embarrassing 45p tax uturn, unimpressed polls and rumours suggesting that Tories are plotting against their leader.
We are sick of the Tories. We didn’t realize the Tories were also tired of them.
