EXCLUSIVE: While her final season of the hit show was airing, Ozark is set to premiere later this month, Emmy-winner Julia Garner looks to be already setting up her next big project as sources tell Deadline she has signed on to star in Paramount Players’Apartment 7A. John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, and Michael Bay are producing via Sunday Night. Brad Fuller will produce via Platinum Dunes.
Natalie Erika James will direct and co-write the latest script together with Christian White. It is based on Skylar James’ draft. Alexa Ginsburg oversees Sunday Night. Alex Ginno is overseeing for Platinum Dunes. Other than the fact that it’s a psychological thriller, plot details are being kept private.
She is best known for her role as Ruth Langmore on the hit Netflix series. Ozark, Garner was awarded two Emmy nominations. She is now following that up with the highly anticipated Netflix limited-series Anna the inventor Garner will portray Anna Delvey, the notorious con artist who conned New York’s socialite scene out their money. Shonda Rhimes produced the series, and she co-wrote all ten episodes.OzarkPremieres January 21Invention of AnnaBowing on February 11.
The film side, Garner recently garnered critical praise and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her performance in Kitty Green’s feature film, The Assistant.
