Oasis Celebrates 25 Years of “Be Here Now” With A Limited Release

Oasis will release limited edition versions of their third album in a variety of formats. You can be here nowThe album will be released via Big Brother Recordings on August 19. This release is to celebrate the 25th anniversary the album’s release, which was released on Aug. 21, 1997.

Formats include a silver-colored double heavyweight LP, a double picture disc, and a cassette, which are available exclusively from the Manchester band’s online store. All formats come with remastered audio. You can pre-order the release Here.

You can be here nowThe eagerly awaited follow-up to (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher produced the song. It was recorded at Abbey Road and Ridge Farm, Master Rock, Air, Master Rock, and Orinoco Studios from November 1996 to April 1997.

Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke wrote of the album in a review, “It’s a formula that can go either way: brilliant, steel-plated consistency or vacuous, shopworn predictability. Gallagher and Oasis pull it off, in great part, because they do not concede any possibility of fucking up.”
