Andrew Garfield opens up about his highly-acclaimed return to the spotlight “Spider-Man: No Way Home”The scene that convinced him to join the film.

Holland teams up with Maguire and Garfield’s characters to develop cures and send the Spidey foes, including Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin/Norman Osborn and Jamie Foxx’s Electro/Max Dillon, back to their universes.

Green Goblin leads the resistance against the cure and the Spider-Men take up arms to fight the foes during the film’s major battle scene.

MJ begins to fall backwards as he stumbles through the fight that takes place at Statue of Liberty’s construction site.

Holland’s Spidey reaches for her, but just as their hands are inches apart, he’s knocked out of the way by Green Goblin.

Garfield’s character is shocked to see this and jumps in, refusing the universe’s Peter to lose the woman he loves. Garfield’s Spidey catches MJ. He lands perfectly. In a touching moment, they ask one another if all is well.

This moment was made even more memorable by Garfield’s failure to save Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in his love interest. “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”

In “TASM,”Spidey attached an internet to Gwen in order to save her from Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn/Green Goblin. However, he was too late. Gwen’s neck fractured from the force of Gwen falling, killing her instantly.

“My Spider-Man got to save his younger brother’s romantic relationship, potentially,”Garfield spoke of Holland’s character. “And to heal the most traumatic moment of his own life through doing it for his younger brother. He continued: “You know, Zendaya brings MJ such a heartfelt, pure, and loving spirit, and Emma brought the same unique spirit for Gwen.”
