The Netflix reality series Bling EmpireA spinoff that is based on an empire state of being?
We got our first glimpse at the streamer Tuesday, October 4. New York: Bling Empire, a forthcoming spinoff of Netflix’s existing Bling EmpireReality series, which is set in Los Angeles. On October 5, streaming giant Netflix will launch Season 3 of this series. And while there’s no release date given yet for the spinoff beyond that it’s “coming soon,” we’ll take a closer look at what we do know about this new Netflix reality series below.
New Netflix reality series — New York: Bling Empire
The new series seems to be very similar in terms of vibe to the original. “Meet a fresh group of wealthy, sophisticated, and hilarious Asian-Americans from New York City,” Netflix explains, “where the quality of real estate is measured by address, not acreage.
“Conversations are direct, not coded. And competition — for love, for money, and for power — is fierce. Billionaires, CEOs, and fashion icons — it’s a city where you can be anything you want to be.”

The launch of a New York edition is similar to what Netflix did with a popular series like Selling SunsetThis was followed by the debut the Selling the OCAnd Tampa Selling spinoffs.
Season 1 Bling Empire, which currently has a 91% critics’ score on Rotten TomatoesThe streaming service was launched for the first time in January 2021.
In May, Netflix released the second season of its reality series. And in Season 2, the drama picked right back up where things left off — with, among other things:
