The TV personality, Nella Rose, along with 19 other Black and Brown influencers, recently experienced an alleged incident of racial discrimination during a luxurious work trip in Megève, France.
The influencers were in France to promote a Black-owned skin-care brand called Topicals, owned by entrepreneur Olamide Olowe. Unfortunately, their visit to the QC Terme Spa and Resort took a dark turn.
While trying to film content at the spa, the group was stopped by staff due to their swimwear choices. The situation escalated as staff members refused to allow Muslim influencers in the group to enter the pool area.
Despite attempts to reason with the spa staff, Nella and the influencers decided not to promote the spa due to the alleged incident of racism and Islamophobia they faced.
Topicals spoke out in support of the content creators, denouncing the discrimination they faced at the French spa and reaffirming their commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
Nella, with her massive social media following, vowed to share her experience with the world and shed light on the racial discrimination that occurred at the spa.
Nella Rose, known for her appearance on I’m A Celeb, has transitioned from reality TV stardom to using her platform to address important social issues like racial discrimination.
