NCT Reality Show Starts KOCOWA SM Studio content Pact


KOCOWA, a specialty American streamer of Korean content, has sealed a deal with SM Studio, part of SM Culture & Contents. The deal’s first show is “Welcome to NCT Universe,”A 10-episode reality series that premieres worldwide on Wednesday.

KOCOWA, a streaming service based out of Los Angeles, is owned by the top three Korean broadcasters KBS, MBC and SBS and SK Telecom, as a subsidiary to their Wavve Americas unit. Wavve operates a joint venture streaming service in Korea. Its content includes dramas and reality programming as well as K-Pop. The subtitles are in multiple languages.

NCT stands as “Neo Culture Technology”The is a global music group that welcomes new members and does not have a limit. There are currently 23 members of the NCT main group and its sub-units. Its sub-units are NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV from China.

“Welcome to the NCT Universe”SM Entertainment rookies are invited to a Neo City tour. Follow the SM rookies and their journey to SMTown with NCT by following Shotaro or Sungchan, professional guides.

KOCOWA will also carry a further eight shows from SM C&C’s library featuring the group. These include “NCT Life in Gapyeong”Filmed in 2021. Available starting next week. “WayVision 2”Starting Dec. 28, 2022

KOCOWA, which was founded in 2017, now boasts millions of viewers and 90% of its audience is non-Korean. Many are female and in the prime demographic under 44. Programming can usually be accessed in real-time following broadcasts in Korea.
