National Society Of FIlm Critics 2021 Honors VOTING Underway

Today, the National Society of Film Critics is voting for the best films of 2020.

The NSFC is comprised of eligible and elected members from major media outlets. These awards recognize the best in acting and direction as well as writing and cinematography across both streaming and on-screen releases in the United States.

Any film that was released in the USA on a screen or streaming service during the year is eligible to be considered. Last year, the group handed Chloe Zhao’s NomadlandThe film won the Best Picture award, the highest prize in the category, which was also duplicated at the Oscars.

The 60-members NSFC includes critics from major newspapers and outlets in Los Angeles and New York. Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles TimesThe New YorkerThe Christian Science MonitorNPR.
