Mum-of-22 Sue Radford whisked away on lavish 29th wedding anniversary trip

Sue Radford is best known as the mum of Britain’s biggest family – she has 22 children with childhood sweetheart Noel.

And, anyone with kids knows it can be difficult to keep the romance alive with just a few little ones let alone two whole football teams worth.

But, it looks like the duo still manage to be romantic as Noel, 50, whisked Sue, 46, away on a kids-free break for their 29th anniversary.

The Radford dad pulled out all the stops for the event with a spa, afternoon tea and plenty of cocktails.

Sue wrote on Instagram: “When your husband springs a surprise weekend away for you for your 29th wedding anniversary.”

And, the mum-of-22 got all dressed up for their time together.

In a series of snaps, she showed off the note and muffins the hotel had provided as a congratulations and the white and floral dress she wore before a night out.

She said: “Ready to go out” while posing in front of the mirror and we think she looks fab!

Sue also showed off the delicious fresh breakfast they enjoyed and the cocktails too.

Plus, there was an afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, scones, smoked salmon and plenty of sweet treats.

But, Sue did tell her followers that she was nervous about leaving Heidie, her youngest child who was born last April.

She said: “He’s such a romantic but have to say I’m extremely nervous about leaving Heidie for the first time, especially as she’s breastfed.

“Please tell me she’ll be ok she does have a bottle if I’m not around.”

Despite the worries, Sue looked to be enjoying the break from her enormous brood as she called the spa trip “bliss”.

Sue and Noel have 22 kids aged from 32 down to one.

They include: Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 20, Millie, 20, Katie, 18, James, 17, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, nine, Casper, eight, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, two, and Heidie, one.

They also have grandchildren thanks to three of their elder children with little Ophelia, born to Millie, living with them in Morecambe.

The Radfords live in a glam 10-bed former care home in Lancashire and enjoy a millionaire lifestyle with Range Rovers and a £6,500 fridge.

Plus, they recently updated their bathroom, installed a bed with a TV that comes out of the foot stand and turned their garden into a home cinema for the summer.

All of their money comes from the family bakery and the proceeds from their documentary 22 Kids and Counting.
