Monique Baugh’s Boyfriend Targeted: Uncovering the Shocking Truth

Revealed: The Shocking Truth Behind the Tragic Murder of Real Estate Agent Monique Baugh

The Targeted Revenge Plot That Ended Monique Baugh’s Life

Monique Baugh, a 28-year-old real estate agent, was tragically murdered in a revenge plot that targeted her boyfriend, Jon Mitchell-Momoh. The harrowing events unfolded on the evening of Dec. 31, 2019, in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

The Night of the Attack

Mitchell-Momoh was at home with their two young children when home invaders shot him and left him bleeding in front of his kids. Simultaneously, Baugh was kidnapped and thrown into a van. Her lifeless body was later discovered in an alley in Minnesota, with her hands bound with duct tape and having been shot three times.

The “Masked Shooter” Incident

According to Mitchell-Momoh’s account to authorities, a masked shooter entered their home and opened fire while he was there with his children. He believed that he was the target due to flashing money on social media or being mistaken for a police cooperator. The incident revealed a deeper motive linked to Mitchell-Momoh’s career as a local rapper.

The Twist of Fate

Court documents highlighted a disturbing revelation that a “paid hit” had been placed on Mitchell-Momoh by a friend-turned-rival. Tragically, less than an hour after the initial attack, ShotSpotter technology detected gunfire near an alley where Baugh was found shot in the torso and face at close range, with her hands bound by tape.

The Luring and Abduction

Authorities later pieced together the events leading to Baugh’s murder. She was lured to a fake house showing under the guise of a prospective buyer’s visit, kidnapped, and transported in a rental truck. The same truck was seen at her house during Mitchell-Momoh’s attack. Ultimately, Baugh was shot and dumped in an alley.

The Convictions

Cedric Berry, along with Berry Davis, were found guilty of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and kidnapping, receiving life sentences without parole. The orchestrator behind the revenge plot, Lyndon Wiggins, suspected Mitchell-Momoh of being a snitch and is serving a life sentence without parole. Additionally, Shante Cheriece Davis, who aided in the logistics, was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

In summary, the tragic murder of Monique Baugh sheds light on a dark and complex web of revenge, betrayal, and senseless violence that shook the community to its core. The details of the case serve as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking beneath seemingly ordinary circumstances and the devastating consequences that can arise from deceit and malice.
