In a video shared to TikTok, the savvy coach explained how she knows how stressful this time of year can be, and how she doesn’t want people ending up in debt because of the pressure of Christmas and buying gifts.

She starts by explaining that: “First off, I want to say that it’s totally okay not to want to buy presents, especially this year in the middle of a pandemic.”

“Society likes to push on us that buying presents is the only way to show your love during the holiday season and it’s truly not.”

She also explains that if you want to buy presents that’s great, but that there shouldn’t be a pressure to do so.

“If you do want to buy presents, that’s totally cool. Step number one is to list all of the people that you want to buy presents for this holiday season.”

“Step two is to give yourself an overall budget of what you feel comfortable spending on everyone so is it $400, $500, what is your total budget for all of your christmas presents?”

“Now you can divide that total budget amount up so that you know how much you want to spend on each individual person.”

“And finally, have a way to keep track of how much you’re spending so that you don’t go over budget.
