MIILIONS OF Android smartphone owners were warned to verify their battery life using a clever hack.
TikTok has posted a helpful video showing tech enthusiasts how to avoid being conned with devices with poor battery life.
The presenter, who is TA Tech Tips, shows viewers how to conduct a simple test to determine if their phone has enough battery life.
He described it as “one of the first things you should do”After purchasing a new phone.
Although the tip is specific to Samsung smartphones, an equivalent test can also be performed on other brands.
Users are advised that they go to their settings and scroll to the “battery and device maintenance” section.
There should be a section for diagnostics at the bottom of this page that allows users to perform tests on several apps.
Select the battery status option in diagnostics to open a battery health check.
