They shocked fans when they announced that they were no longer an exclusive pair earlier this week.
Gemma’s father, Michael, was speaking out for the first times since their shock split.
The ex-player for Liverpool FC took to Twitter to share his potential winners.
Michael said in the video that he didn’t want anyone to give him stick immediately.
“If you don’t want to give me stick put down the team that interests you to win.
“If you do give me stick, I can find out what you predicted at this time and I can actually gracefully say your pick was better than mine…”
Gemma made the announcement that they had split on Wednesday evening.
In an Instagram post, she said: “Luca & I have ended our relationship. It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now.
“Many of you have been on this journey with us from the beginning and I want to thank you for your continued support as a new chapter starts.”
Gemma sparked concern last month of trouble in paradise with boyfriend Luca after failing to mention him in her interview with Tatler.
Fans noticed this week that she was not at Luca’s side, as he attended several events.
Luca broke his silence several hours later.
On his Instagram Story, the fishmonger wrote: “Switched my phone back on after taking some time out to clear my head after an emotional afternoon to thousands of messages and news articles about my breakup.”
He continued: “I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all already now know sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separate ways.”
