One of A2K’s most loved contestants Melissa Kadas has left the show and fans are wondering why she ditched the competition.
A2K aka America to Korea is JYP Entertainment’s famous girl group audition program that aims to create an America-based Global K-Pop group. Los Angeles BootCamp was recently finished by the showrunners and they have now selected their top ten candidates who will be heading to Korea. Melissa Kadas, a music star who is also popular with fans, was one of the 10 stars. Melissa Kadas has recently been reported to have dropped out from A2K.
Melissa’s exit from the show was revealed to fans recently, despite her making the Top 10. The episode 15 of the show, which was broadcasted on September 1st, revealed that Melissa made it to the Top 10.
In a clip from A2K, however, the host tells the nine remaining girls that Melissa has left the show. He says “Melissa is unable to join due to personal reasons.” Melissa also left a video message for her co-contestants and for fans. She said she wished the contestants luck and did not go into detail about her personal reasons for leaving the show.
She hasn’t discussed it on her social media either.
Melissa’s departure from the show was a sad news for fans, despite her being an excellent contestant.
“I hope she is okay…” one worried fan wrote.
“My main vocalist pick, nooo,” another person wrote with crying emojis.
“That’s sad I was rooting for her so much,” another person said who which a fan replied, “Me too, she was the strongest vocal out of all of them.”
“I cried watching today’s episode, you are my #1. I’ll be supporting you wherever you go, Thank you for brightening my days while I watched you on A2K, from now on I’ll be following you wherever you go !!!” another fan told Melissa via an Instagram comment.
