Los Angeles Police Search Landfill Looking for Evidence about Missing Mother Heidi Planck

Los Angeles police are looking for clues about a missing mother and have begun searching a landfill.

According to the LAPD Heidi Planck, 39, was last seen in October at an apartment complex downtown.

Investigators claim that forensic evidence found inside the building leads them to believe that an incident caused her death. Further investigation led them into the Chiquita Canyon Landfill to find evidence.

The private landfill is being searched by detectives for human remains and evidence. This can take up to ten days.

Her ex-husband reported Planck missing on October 20. Her vehicle was discovered in a garage several blocks from the place she was last seen.

Family and friends have been searching the area for information in hopes that someone will be able to help.

Police claim they don’t have any suspect information.
