Whoever follows the updates on Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest phase 4 offering project, Loki already knows that the series has many stories to narrate. By the looks of it, Loki is the only MCU series on Disney+ that was renewed even before the first season was released.
Kevin Feige was the one who revealed that he already has several plans for the God of Mischief in phase four of MCU. Loki recently premiered its fourth episode, and things are turning out to be a Nexus event if you know what we’re suggesting!
Will The Plot End By Season Finale?
Loki’s story will not stop with the first season finale. The series is already connected to WandaVision. If you remember, as the advertisements in WandaVision were led by a brand called ‘Nexus.’ Nexus is an integral part of TVA’s motto. Moreover, this means that timekeepers keep tabs on Wanda as bringing her sons to the main universe would create another ‘Nexus’ event.
Further, this also points out that Wanda, Loki, and Doctor Strange are connected more ways than possible. Loki has two more episodes to go before the first season ends. And now that our favorite Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is killed in action alongside Mobius (Owen Wilson), the future is a little distorted for now!
In the recent trailer of Shang-Chi, Abomination is seen fighting Wong, so big things are coming to MCU and Disney+. Stay tuned for more updates on Loki and Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Loki Season 2: Premiere onDisney+
The second season of Loki is already in the development stage. The reports from IGN suggest that there’s not an official date of release of the second season as of now. As Loki is currently running on Disney+, it would take six to seven months to get details on the release of the series.
Meanwhile, the only thing we could do is guess when the second season would premiere. Disney+ generally takes a year to release one season after another. Loki will follow that same suit; hence the second season will arrive sometime in May 2022 or even as early as spring 2022.
