Loki Episode 4 fugitive variation Pays Tributes to the Scary Classic Horror

The recently released episode 4 pays tribute to Denzel Washington’s movie Fallen. The episode was released on Wednesday and it is the modern scary classic. The story began back in season 2 when Loki and Agent Mobius sets on a mission to locate the enemy fugitive variation. He is the enemy who is responsible for the killing of two of the Time Variance Authority agents.

The episode displayed a similar horror classic with a modern twist as if they are paying tribute to the classic Gregory Hoblit’s psychological thriller Fallen. Back in 1998, Washington played as a detective John Hobbes. In the modern Loki episode 4, the fugitive variation who is on the run sets up a shop in a store.

At the time, when the Time Variance Authority agent Mobius and Loki comes to find him in the store. The variant tries to hurt Loki through his transference powers. He travels through the different people gathered in the store. This was indeed the scariest scene. Additionally, it was intended to pay homage to the classic horror Fallen.

John Hobbes, who is a homicide investigator and Edgar had a conversation and just after it the news of Reese’s execution in jail comes. Sadly, this isn’t the end of serial killings. After Reese, several killings take place which is similar in the manner to the execution of Reese only. Afterward, John Hobbes witnesses a strange coincidence of people singing the same song as sung by the Reese in the jail.

The story surfaces further when demonic Azazel’s physically possessed body is killed. Now, the angel is in search of another body. Meanwhile, the Hobbes partners doubt him to be the serial killer. Later, he goes into a cabin amidst woods where he asks the demonic to follow. He then kills himself and the Jonesy.

Now, it may appear that the demon exists no more but, is it so? So, was the tribute intentionally planned? Stay tuned for further updates.
