Since they began dating in January, the couple has been inseparable. Kardashian and the 45-year-old musician recently treated their fans to some behind-the-scenes of their lavish travels and getaways.
Kardashian uploaded two photos on Instagram with the caption “Instagram VS. Reality.” The second snap showed her and Barker lying down on the bed with beauty facemasks on. A fan commented: “reality is my jam. love a good mask and cuddle [sic].”
Kardashian’s post amassed over 2.8 million likes, as it’s rare for fans to see the duo display their unglamorous side, with most of their public photos showing them dressed to the nines. The team recently appeared on the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet for the first time as a couple. They even marked the occasion with public displays of affection.
Like the fans gushing about the Poosh founder and Barker’s intense romance, makeup and shapewear mogul Kim Kardashian also swooned over the couple. The Skims founder noted that her sister and the artist looked cute together. She added that both had known each other for almost 15 years, making their relationship more special. Besides hitting the red carpet for the first time as a couple, Barker has successfully overcome his fear of flying on a plane with the help of Kardashian a few months ago.
When the couple flew onboard a private jet bound to Cabo, San Lucas, in Mexico, he achieved the milestone. Barker survived a plane crash in 2008, but the incident left him traumatized. It took a while for him to fly with his girlfriend, who wanted to travel with him earlier. But he later described their flight to Mexico, which lasted two hours, as easy and quick. The renowned drummer shared that he made a deal with Kardashian to travel with her anywhere. He revealed he did breathing exercises the night before their trip.
