But which one do you prefer? Today, I’m going to focus on running shoes while our Beauty Editor tests microbiome skincare.

It was simple and quick to use. I also had the option of choosing from a variety of brands so that I can find the right trainers for me.

Mizuno trainers were sent to me. They fit perfectly and provide a great running experience.

This is definitely something I would use again.

BUDGET – The Inkey List Multi-Biotic Moisturiser, £12.99 for 30ml, lookfantastic.com

This clever cream is packed with pre, post, and pro-biotics. It feeds the good bacteria, reduces irritation, and promotes healthy, glowing skin.

The lightweight water-like moisturiser sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy film, but still feels hydrating thanks to the skin-identical ingredient squalane.

It helped to balance my oily/combination skin, and it also healed the dry patches around me mouth and nose.

Only problem is the pungent smell.

MID – Skingredients Preprobiotic Cleanser, £26 for 100ml, cultbeauty.co.uk

This creamy cleanser was a product I was excited about, as it was created by Jennifer Rock (skinfluencer)

I had high hopes for this creamy cleanser

I was very excited about this cream cleanser

It’s fragrance-free, which is great for sensitive skin like mine, and best of all it left my skin feeling clean but not tight or dry after washing.

That said, it works best as part of a double cleanse routine or a morning cleanser, as I found it doesn’t remove mascara very well, so I used a micellar first around my eyes.

It’s also worth noting the packaging is refillable (yay for the planet) and the refills cost slightly less at £23 for 100ml.

Favourite: LUXURY – Cultured Biome One Mask, £48 for 60ml, cultbeauty.co.uk

This handy product is full of skin-loving substances such as succinic, lactic, and azelaic Acid, and also contains barrier-reinforcing pre- and post-biotics.

This nifty number really does it all

The gentle acids are gentle and non-irritating.

Hydrating glycerine gives skin a boost of moisture, leaving it plump and radiant.

You can use the jelly mask as a reset button on your face.

I can’t get enough of it.

I’m a skincare expert and I NEVER have to use deodorant thanks to this tip
